Well, Shudder has done it again! I was pleasantly surprised at this movie. It has a certain horror-comedy vibe that works.
It works, in part, by the performances and it contained a lot of practical effects.
Alex Winter (Freaked) produced & co-stars in this tale of absolutely diabolical weirdness & gore.
Jonah Ray plays the part of protagonist William Brown, a neurotic prog-rock musician who can't seem to finish his album.
Williams new neighbor, Vlad, played by Alex Winter in heavy prosthetic makeup is an absolute scene stealer.
What follows is a hilarious nightmare of beheadings, dismemberment, hallucinations, "accidental" murders, and a lot of humor!
This movie runs 86 minutes, presented in 2:1 ratio with 5.1 Dolby Sound.
A bit skimpy on extras but well worth it.
