Reports confirm that filming has concluded now as of 7/20/26.
Although not much is known regarding the next entry into the EDU (Evil Dead Universe) other than it is a prequel to the original The Evil Dead (1981) and takes place in the 1970's - specifically 1972 according to some reports.
We know who has been cast:
Charlotte Hope (known for The Nun)
Jessica McNamee (known for Mortal Kombat)
Zach Gilford (known for Midnight Mass)
Josh Helman (known for Mad Max: Fury Road)
Ella Newton (known for Dangerous Animals)
Elizabeth Cullen (known for Goolagong)
Ella Oliphant (Australian newcomer)
We don't yet know the characters names or if the setting is the original cabin or another location.
